They only activate on threat from various kinds of Meme attack. So it’s no wonder why everyone got so busy on the V2 MemeMech upgrades.
The Magic Table says ancient MALarms were placed in public places throughout the Worlds of Peltan. Depending on what kind of Meme Plague was incoming, they’d flash different displays warning Peltragons what to prepare for and how to take refuge.
